Sights of the Grand Canyon
The Grand Canyon was so magical with too many beautiful sights for the eyes to see. You just can't seem to really capture the vastness of the Grand Canyon. Steven decided to try his luck hiking the iced over Bright Angel Trail for a deeper look into the canyon. Being slighly accident prone, he got more than he bargained for (more on that in a future blog post). Across from the El Tovar hotel is the historic Hopi House. At dinner the night before we left the canyon Mom & Earl gave each of us a gift to help us remember the trip. The gentlemen each recieved a watch and the ladies a beautiful ruby gem set. The ride home on the train was more than eventful. Complete with champagne toast and a train robbery. Such great fun! Memories to last a life time. Words just can't express our gratitude for such a wonderful family event we will cherish forever. Thank you Mom & Earl for you kindness, generosity, and thoughtfulness. We love you so much. So long Canyon! Until we meet again!
Next up, the Philippines...
Thank you so much Mom & Earl for the trip of a lifetime. We love you!
