Jianguo Holiday Jade Market in Taipei
Like the flower market of the same name, the jade market seems almost endless in the amount of vendors and selection of jade jewelry. Necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings, and any figurine you could imagin could be found there. Not everything was jade either. There were also diamond vendors, metallic jewelry, and antiques from places as far away as Nepal. Watching people wheel-n-deal was just as impressive as the jade jewelry there. Of course Steve and I couldn’t leave without getting a small jade souvenir for ourselves - matching bracelets!
